Kenny Burrell is een Amerikaans jazzgitarist en Grover Washington Jr. was een Amerikaanse jazz-funk soul-saxofonist.

In 1984, ruim na de massale commerciële disco hit Washington"s, "Mr Magic", werd hij verbonden met meester gitarist "Burrell" om dit eenmalige project te doen. Een album met alleen standards, originals, en Braziliaans getinte nummers.
