Amerikaanse soul R&B-groep uit Detroit. In Engeland staan The Spinners bekend als The Detroit Spinners of The Motown Spinners.
De 5-man tellende groep begon in Detroit in 1954 en had hits als I'll be around, Could it be I'm falling in love, The rubberband man, Cupid/I've loved you for a long time (medley) en Working my way back to you.

Tussen 1961 en 1971 stonden de Spinners' onder contract bij het legendarische Motown-label, maar het grote succes kwam pas toen ze in 1972 tekenden bij Atlantic Records.
