Description: The Vote for Change Tour "Finale" brought many of its artists together for the first time in the President's home city. The crowd was treated to a five-hour-plus show, with Bruce and the E Street Band rocking the proceedings to a close. It was an abridged version of their standard VFC set, including the collaborations with Stipe on "Because the Night," and Fogerty on "Fortunate Son."
The night's events were broadcast live on the Sundance Channel and with DVD recorders now commonplace, it is not surprising that there are a multitude of versions in circulation. DVD Dubbing Guy has used the Digi-TOx version the show's rebroadcast in an attempt to produce the ultimate edition. The rebroadcast was missing Fogerty's "Deja Vu", but the sound was much improved from the original screening.

The quality is simply stunning. Not only is the image free of the compression artefacts that mar some other versions, it is also presented in glorious anamorphic widescreen. From a sheer technical perspective, this is just about as good it can possibly get. "Vote For Change Washington 16:9 (The Rebroadcast)" is undoubtedly the best version of the performance available. If you have a widescreen TV, this is a "must have" upgrade.
