The Beatles - The White Album (Remastered) (2009)
Een dubbelaar van de gelijknamige band. Het album is beter bekend onder de naam "The White Album". Deze benaming komt door de hoes. Deze is helemaal wit met aan de rechterkant, ietwat schuin en in reliëf naar buiten gedrukt het opschrift "The Beatles". De opnames in de studio liepen van 30 mei tot 14 oktober 1968. Dit album was het eerste dat verscheen bij "Apple Records". Hiervoor was al de single "Hey Jude" bij Apple verschenen i.p.v. bij Parlophone. De platen van het Apple label zijn herkenbaar aan de groene appel in het midden van de plaat. Het album is het meest afwisselende van alle Beatles albums. Allerlei stijlen worden gespeeld, van jaren '40 muziek tot een slaapliedje. Op dit album is al te merken dat de band uit elkaar groeit. Veel nummers zijn bijna soloprojecten te noemen. Hoewel de composities nog altijd op naam staan van "Lennon & McCartney", zijn in werkelijkheid de nummers geschreven door óf Lennon, óf McCartney.
