From the same company that developed the popular EARTHWORM JIM series comes WILD 9 for the PlayStation. The game takes place in a 3D world, with huge polygonal environments, though much of the action occurs on a 2D path. The actual gameplay follows the normal formula of a platformer, except with some exciting new twists. The main character, Wex, has a hook that allows him to attack enemies in various ways. You must learn how to dispose of each enemy in a highly imaginative way. You must also use your hook to solve the various puzzles that are littered throughout each level by utilizing items you find or other objects that are strewn about the environment.
