Soul of the Samurai is a great action game. The graphics and hand-drawn backgrounds look awesome and the characters look and move sweetly. Not only that, the music is cool, and the slicing sounds and explosions are more than adequate as well. However, while numerous weapons and skill powerups break the monotony in gameplay, it's still a button masher. You'll play through it twice, 'cause there's two characters to pick from. Anything after that, you're just relieving stress, and you can't hit your brother.
