Francis Albert "Frank" Sinatra (geboren op 12 december 1915 in Hoboken, New Jersey; overleden op 14 mei 1998 in Los Angeles, Californië) was een Amerikaanse zanger, acteur en entertainer. 
Hij stond bekend onder bijnamen als "Ol’ Blue Eyes" en – vanwege zijn kenmerkende stem – "The Voice". Sinatra gold lange tijd als de invloedrijkste artiest in Las Vegas; zijn vakgenoten noemden hem daarom – half grappend, maar wel met respect – de "Chairman of the Board". 
Hij begon zijn muzikale carrière tijdens het swingtijdperk als zanger bij de orkesten van Harry James en Tommy Dorsey. 
Samen met artiesten als Dean Martin en Sammy Davis Jr.
maakte hij deel uit van de zogenaamde "Rat Pack". Zijn internationaal succesvolle hits – waaronder "Strangers in the Night", "My Way" en "New York, New York" – bezorgden hem wereldwijde roem, en er werden meer dan 150 miljoen exemplaren van zijn albums verkocht.
