PREPARING THE RECORDING
I recorded this standing at the left side of the stage. It was not too crowded but 
people kept on talking during the songs. Also there is some clapping and enthousiastic 
shouting in between. The dynamics are very good. Tracks were slightly EQ-ed and 
volume was a bit corrected, but I kept the dynamics in tact. I use no compression. 
After correction, tracks were split at sector boundaries. Flacs are tagged for 
convenient playback on compatible systems.

ABOUT THE CONCERT
Sting has decided to record some of his songs with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and
he takes this new album out on touring. In the Netherlands there is an annual concert 
called Symphonica In Rosso with every year another artist. It was instated by dutch
singer Marco Borsato. Sting had the honour of appearing two nights on a row. This recording
is from the first night. A couple of guests were present, such as his son Joe and two dutch
artists. The audience was a bit noisy, there was talking going on all the time. 
I heard that was everywhere, not only around me. So this recording is what it is: 
a capture of this night and the ambience as it was.
