Tonight's WWE NXT show is the next-to-last episode of Season Two. The episode was taped last Wednesday in California as part of a double Smackdown TV taping week.

The remaining Rookies on NXT are Kaval, Alex Riley, and Michael McGillicutty. WWE will determine the winner of Season Two next week, August 31, on the season finale episode.


The only match scheduled to air on tonight's episode is MVP vs. Cody Rhodes in a singles match. MVP's Rookie, Percy Watson, and Rhodes's Rookie, Husky Harris, were both eliminated from last week's show.

Concerning the remaining Rookies, tonight's show will feature a "Quiz Show" challenge setting up the season finale next week.
