Ramones is the debut album by the American  punk rock band the Ramones. Widely cited as the first punk rock group, the Ramones released the album on April 23, 1976  on Sire Records. The album received 5 out of 5 stars by Allmusic, and peaked 111 on the Billboard 200.[7]  It is the only Ramones album produced by Craig Leon.
