Jane Ira Bloom - The Nearness
Jane Ira Bloom is een Amerikaanse jazz-sopraan saxofonist en componist. "Bloom" begon als pianist en drummer, later de altsax, en uiteindelijk de sopraan saxofoon als haar primaire instrument. Dit is een geweldig album uit 1996 met remakes van de standards "Summertime" en "Round Midnight" die briljant zijn.
