Selena Gomez is een Amerikaanse actrice/zangeres. Ze werd bekend door haar rol in de Disney-serie Wizards of Waverly Place. 
Daarvoor had ze echter al rollen in series als Barney & Friends, Hannah Montanna en The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.
Ook had Selena rollen in de films Another Cinderella Story en Princess Protection Program. Ook zal ze de hoofdrol spelen in de film Ramona & Beezus.
Naast actrice is ze dus ook zangeres. Ze zong onder andere de soundtrack van Wizards of Waverly Place en heeft haar eigen band Selena Gomez & The Scene.
