"Hope & Glory" is the first solo album by "Heart" singer Ann Wilson,
released on September 11, 2007, and features guest appearances from:
Elton John, k.d. lang, Alison Krauss, Gretchen Wilson, Shawn Colvin,
Rufus Wainwright, Wynonna Judd and Deana Carter.

Ann Wilson is an American rock singer born in 1950 who rose to fame as a member of the group "Heart" in the 1970"s. At a time when few bands were fronted by a woman, Ann Wilson"s powerful vocals stood out among her contemporaries. From their first release, "Dreamboat Annie" in 1974, via the power ballad comeback album of the 80s - "Heart" (1985), to their most recent, "Dreamboat Annie Live", "Heart" has won a steadfast following. Notable guest slots for other artists included working with "Alice in Chains".
Most recently Ann has released her first solo album "Hope and Glory" (2007), an album of cover versions loosely themed around an anti-war sentiment. It peaked at No.1 on the American Billboard Heatskeekers chart.
