Quincy Jones - ABC-Mercury Big Band Jazz Sessions
Quincy Jones was van oorsprong jazzmuzikant, maar vanaf 1951 oogstte hij aan de lopende band successen als arrangeur en producer. Op deze prachtige set van "Q" staan alle studio sessies uit 1959/60, de live Mercury sessies uit 1961, en de ABC-Paramount opname van 1956, bij het Impulse label.
