Roy Orbison - The Essential (70th Anniversary Edition) Op verzoek
Roy Orbison was een Amerikaanse country en rockzanger. Hij staat sinds 1987 in de "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame", en sinds 1989 in de "Songwriters Hall of Fame". In 2010 kreeg Orbison postuum een ster op de beroemde "Hollywood Walk of Fame". Om de geboortedag van de grootmeester van de melodramatische popsong te herdenken, werd in 2006 door Sony deze hitscompilatie uitgebracht.
